Effective 11 September 2026. These terms apply to the website at merik.in and the Merik application.
By requesting a workspace, signing in, or using the website, you agree to these terms. If you are using Merik for a company, you confirm you are allowed to accept these terms on its behalf. Questions: merik.msk@gmail.com.
Merik provides a web application for workforce management — employee records, attendance, leave, payroll, task logs, clients and invoicing, assets — and for monitoring websites and APIs (“Digital Operations”). Features are described on the modules and features pages. We may add, change or retire features; where a change removes something a workspace relies on, we will tell admins in advance.
merik.js on a site — yours or a client's — you are responsible for any notice the site's visitors are owed. The snippet is designed to collect error information and no personal data; see the security page for exactly what it never sends.AI features are optional and off unless enabled for your workspace. They produce drafts for a person to review. You are responsible for anything you use or send after editing a draft.
Don't use Merik to break the law, to store data you have no right to store, to attack or probe the service, to monitor systems you are not authorised to monitor, or to interfere with other companies' workspaces. Don't resell access without our agreement. We may suspend a workspace that breaks these rules; where practical we will contact the admin first.
The workspace, with every module and no limit on employees, is free. Guided setup is a paid service agreed separately in writing, with its scope and price stated before work starts. If we ever introduce paid plans, existing workspaces will be told in advance and nothing already recorded will be held behind a paywall.
We work to keep Merik available and will tell workspace admins about planned maintenance and significant incidents. The free service comes without an uptime commitment. Support is by email at merik.msk@gmail.com.
Merik, its code, design and content are ours. Your data is yours. Feedback you give us may be used to improve the product without obligation to you.
Merik is provided “as is”. We do not promise it will be error-free or uninterrupted. To the extent the law allows, Merik is not liable for indirect or consequential loss, and our total liability to a company in any twelve-month period is limited to the fees that company paid us in that period. Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot be limited by law.
You can stop using Merik at any time and ask us to delete your workspace. We may close a workspace for breach of these terms, or if we discontinue the service, in which case we will give reasonable notice and a chance to export data.
These terms are governed by the laws of India. If we change them materially we will update the date at the top and tell workspace admins by email; continued use after that is acceptance of the new terms.
Effective 11 September 2026.
